Efficacy Models

The in vivo nude mouse xenograft model is a useful tool to investigate the events involved in malignant cell transformation, invasion and metastasis, as well as to evaluate the efficacy and/or mechanisms underlying therapeutic approaches. Vivotecnia would also be pleased to set up an efficacy model for you from the many cell lines (breast, colorectal, brain, connective tissue, lung, skin, bone, pancreas and muscle) that we hold. We can help you determine the cell dose/animal, vehicle, volume of administration etc. to define the tumor volume growth post-cell inoculation.

Additional efficacy models available include:

  • Inflammation (collagen induced arthritis model)
  • Diabetes (streptozotocin-induced diabetes model)
  • Sepsis (lipopolysaccharide-induced sepsis model)

We are experienced in developing new efficacy models and would be pleased to evaluate how we can assist you in your research project.
